From the Tucson International Airport Terminal:
Exit the airport on Tucson Blvd. and drive north to the first stoplight at Valencia, then turn left to the first stop light, Campbell (also known as Kino Parkway). Turn right (north) and stay on Campbell. When you cross Broadway begin counting numbered street signs. Turn right when you reach 8th Street. (7th Street is blocked at Campbell.) Drive one block to Norris and turn left (north) at the stop sign. Drive one block to 7th and turn right (east). Sam Hughes Inn is the third house on the right at 2020 E. 7th Street. (Total driving distance is 7.8 miles or about 15 minutes from the airport).
From Phoenix:
Note: Highway I10 is under construction for the next few years. All exits to Tucson are closed. Here are two alternate routes.
1. Take exit 254 (Prince Rd.) east to Campbell (approximately 3 miles) & turn right. When you reach 6th St. (3.5 miles) turn left for one block and then right on Norris. One block to the stop sign on 7th St. Sam Hughes Inn is on the other side of the street, third house left.
2. OR - Exit 254/Prince Rd. and take the frontage road parallel to I10 until you reach Speedway.) Turn left (east) and follow Speedway to Campbell. Turn right on Campbell to 6th Street; turn left to the next street (Norris) and then turn right to the end of the block (7th St.). Sam Hughes Inn is on the other side of the street, third house left.
If you miss Exit 254 or Speedway, continue until you are permitted to turn east; then follow directions below.
From Highway I10 East/South: Take Exit 259 (29th Street) and continue east to Kino/Cambell (same street with 2 names). Turn left and continue on Kino/Campbell until you pass Broadway and then begin looking at street numbers. Turn right on 8th Street for one block and then left on Norris. Turn right to Sam Hughes Inn, third house on the right.
